The Vila Adriana provide many photo opportunities but this one has to be amongst my favourites. You can imagine Hadrian or one of his courtiers strolling across the scene.

The Canopus was Hadrians idea of what ancient Egypt looked like i.e. even more ancient than Hadrian's time.
